BAPN Stargaze Gala

A week long day camp that aims to give students a deeper understanding of careers in aviation and aerospace. Organized by BAPN, held in Toronto, ON, CA

Curriculum includes panel discussion with aviation and aerospace leaders, field trips to aviation training facilities (i.e. simulators, hangars etc.), interactive tours and so much more.

July 14 & 15

Campers can prepare for two days of informative in-class sessions led by leaders in the industry specific to: Flight Operations including a panels, workshops and virtual access to the flight deck! Maintenance Engineering with information sessions and workshops Unconventional Careers in Aviation that will expose campers to the “behind the scenes” professions within aviation (i.e., IT, Human Resources, Law, Finance, Communication, etc.). Campers will also have hands on opportunity to learn about cabin crew, air traffic control (with NAV Canada) and careers in the military.

Campers will visit:

  • July 16 – Ornge Air Ambulance: air ambulance flight operations base out of Billy Bishop Airport
  • July 17 – uFly Simulator: Visit the most sophisticated and realistic publicly available flight simulators in the world!
  • July 18 – Seneca College Polytechnic to gain hands on experience with their In-Flight training program.

There is no better way to end the week than with a career planning session and the opportunity to network with aviation professionals. Parents & guardians of campers are welcome to commemorate the completion of the day camp while interacting with talent recruitment from various organizations.
