This two-year program provides over 1000 hours of training, which includes up to 300 hours of aircraft/simulator time. Depending on weather conditions, students may be required to participate in flight training activities any day of the week (including weekends). Successful students will graduate with an Ontario College Certificate and an Ontario Private Career College Certificate. The program is available to both Canadian and International students, but only has about 20 spaces open, so don’t miss your chance to get in the pilot’s seat!\nAdmissions requirements:\nAcademic\n• Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or mature student status (19 years or older)\n• Grade 12 English (C or U), or equivalent (minimum 60% or higher grade required), or take the Centennial College English Skills Assessment for Admission\n• Grade 11 Mathematics (M or U 60% or higher) or Grade 12 (C or U 60% or higher), or equivalent, or take a Centennial College Math Skills Assessment for Admission\nAdditional requirements\n• English Language Proficiency ‒ Due to the technical nature of the curriculum you must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language at a level exceeding basic conversational English.\n• Aviation medical ‒ A Category 1 Aviation Medical is required. Students that do not have a CAT 1 medical will not be permitted to participate in flight activities (aircraft or simulator). During the first week of training there will be a medical examiner onsite to conduct the required examinations, or you can find an approved medical examiner through the Transport Canada website at: visit tc.gc.ca • Program dress code ‒ All students are required to arrive for training appropriately attired in white pilot shirt, black tie, khaki/navy or black chino-style pants with belt and clean closed-toe dress shoes or sneakers (no sandals)\nCareer options:\n• Private pilot, commercial pilot, airline transport pilot, single pilot in commercial air service, co-pilot on multi-crew/multi-engine aircraft in commercial air transportation services, flight training instructor, civil aviation inspector\nTuition fees:\nFees and additional training related costs noted below are estimates only and based on three semesters, beginning January (winter semester) 2023.\n• $120,000.00 – four individual payments\n(between $25-$35,000.00 per payment)\n▸ Phase one, Payment one\n▸ Phase four, Payment two\n▸ Phase five, Payment three\n▸ Phase seven, Payment four\n• Payments are due 45 days prior to the start of the applicable semester phase.\nAdditional costs (estimate only):\n• $4,700.00 (to cover items such as books, supplies, medicals, Transport Canada examinations and flight tests, etc.)\n• Costs associated with airport landing fee’s (usually ranging from $15-35 per flight/landing)\n
