DESCRIPTION:We have exciting news! There is a new scholarship coming to the Edmonton Flying Club! This scholarship is in memory of EFC past member David Owen. David had a love of flying from a very early age and his family are creating this scholarship to keep his memory that much more alive!\nFor the scholarship, we are asking students, who wish to apply to write a 1 page letter on why you have a love of aviation, and why you want to be a pilot. We love creativity so be as creative as you want! There are 3 pilots, who were great friends of David’s, who will review the applications and decide on who receives the award.\nRequirements to apply for the $3500 annual scholarship:\n1. Must have completed your Private Pilot’s Licence\n2. Be a student at the Edmonton Flying Club working on your Commercial License\n3. Have a love of aviation\n4.
