DESCRIPTION:Pacific Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Association (PAMEA) ( https://amec-teac.ca/pacific/ ) AME Award: $1,500\n\nPromotes prospective AME candidates that recently graduated or are currently enrolled and have completed at least 75% of their training in an accredited AME training school in British Columbia.\nMust show an aptitude and desire for a career in aircraft maintenance, be a Canadian Citizen, Landed Immigrant or have proof of ability to work in Canada.\nThis award is due to the support of some very special people, including Ferdinand (Ferdie) Vachon AME (Aviation Hall of Fame 2001), Gordon Peters AME, BCIT Instructor (1985), and Alan and Dorthy Ludbrook Pioneers in Avionics in Vancouver, who created the PAMEA Scholarship Fund to promote the best in aircraft maintenance.\nStudies can be completed anywhere in Canada.\n\n
