Elevate Aviation’s Yvonne Bohme Bursary

Women who show exceptional potential and need financial assistance throughout the training process may apply for the bursary programs listed below.

The Yvonne Bohme Bursary
Yvonne Bohme was the first female air traffic controller in the Edmonton Alberta Area Control Centre. Retiring after over 26 years, Yvonne was a trailblazer in the industry. This bursary is awarded to assist women in obtaining careers in Air Traffic Services as Tower Air Traffic Controllers, Area Air Traffic Controllers, Flight Service Specialists, and Technicians.
$1,000 will be awarded to successful applicants.
Eligibility: Applicants must be a female identifying and residing in Canada. They must be placed on course for an Air Traffic Control or Flight Service program. They must show financial need, have a passion for aviation and a willingness to work hard.
