BAPN Stargaze Gala

A week long day camp that aims to give students a deeper understanding of careers in aviation and aerospace. Organized by BAPN, held in Toronto, ON, CA

Youth ages 14+ can expect:

Inspiration and Motivation – Participating in aviation programs can spark a lifelong passion for flight. By meeting professionals in the industry, students will see the possibilities of working in aviation and be motivated to pursue their dreams.

• STEM Integration – Aviation-related activities naturally integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Students will learn about aerodynamics, the physics of flight, and engineering principles, all while engaged in exciting projects.

• Hands-On Engagement – By engaging in aviation-related activities and hands-on experiences, students will deepen their understanding of theoretical concepts. From flight simulator to aircraft maintenance workshops, activities will provide practical knowledge that textbooks alone cannot offer.

• Building Soft Skills – Participation in aviation activities helps develop essential soft skills essential in aviation, such as teamwork, communication, leadership, and adaptability. Whether working in groups to design a model aircraft or riding in a flight simulator, students learn to collaborate effectively.

• Career Awareness – By exposing students to various roles within aviation, students will gain insight into potential career paths. Campers have the opportunity to earn their aeronautical radio license at no cost — an essential prerequisite for anyone pursuing a pilot’s license in Canada.
