Inspire Higher - Youth Outreach
Planting the seed at an early age is key to implementing change. Black youth will have access to see themselves excel in the industry and be able to learn from current professionals in the industry. Programs are created to allow students to familiarize themselves with the roles and complexities within the Aviation industry.

Donate to a future Pilot or AME Today! We built packages that any aspiring pilot or AME would dream of having as they begin their careers. The items in the packages are normally not covered by flight schools or post secondary institutions. Receiving these resources would allow the students to focus on their studies. These packages would be awarded to Black Canadian students that have identified they are ready to take the next step in their aviation career and identified the need for support
Career Development
We have programming tailored to pilots, AMEs, dispatchers and more regardless of their progress. Providing access to on-going professional experience means pilots can reduce cycle repetition and AMEs can receive support through to their first job.

Ways to Get Involved
DAY IN AVIATION
Launched in 2019, A Day in Aviation aims to engage students to explore aviation as an academic and career pathway. Programming is geared towards Black youth ages 14-17 and includes activities such as discussion panels, lunch with pilots and Aviation Maintenance Engineers (AMEs), as well as onsite and/ or virtual tours of an aircraft hangar and Systems Operations Control.
MARSHAL PROGRAM
This program pairs students ages 14-17 with a mentor from the BAPN community who will provide professional support, guidance, advice, and feedback on the student’s area of interest within aviation and aerospace.
SHOOTING STARS ACADEMY
Aims to give students a deeper understanding of careers in aviation and aerospace. This week-long day program includes multiple informative sessions specific to Flight Operations, Maintenance Engineering, unconventional careers in Aviation, and career planning/mapping
Curriculum includes panel discussions with aviation and aerospace leaders, field trips to aviation training facilities, virtual tours, and so much more.

Our packages include, but not limited to: Inspection mirrors, subscription to Foreflight, noise cancelling gear, safety boots, log books, tool case, flight calculators, and more!
