AIRBUS A320 FLIGHT SIMULATOR SCHOLARSHIP

The Manitoba Chapter of the Ninety-Nines is pleased to announce the availability of the Airbus A320 Flight Simulator Scholarship.

The Airbus A320 Flight Simulator Scholarship awards a first-hand introduction to the Airbus A320 flight simulator. This scholarship is open to active members of the Manitoba Chapter of the 99’s who are also members in good standing with the International 99s and hold their Multi-IFR. Up to two Airbus A320 Flight Simulator Scholarships may be available. The Airbus A320 flight simulator will be booked for a day convenient for both recipients and the flight simulator supervisors. Recipients’ airfare and hotel room (if required) is included with this award.

1. To apply, submit the attached application form by February 1st.

2. Eligible applicants will be selected following an interview with two MB 99s Airline Pilots.

3. Criteria used to select scholarship recipients are:
a. a member in good standing with significant involvement in MB 99’s major events such as Women Fly, C-FLUG Management, Fund Raising and Executive positions who has extensive flying experience and would most benefit from this opportunity, and
b. Who has demonstrated potential to succeed in an international airline, included in priority: Captains and First Officers on local carriers; women with their multi-IFR completed; women who have nearly completed their multi-IFR and are waiting for their flight test.
