Alicia Patel D’Souza Emerging Pilots Scholarship

The Manitoba Chapter of the Ninety-Nines is pleased to announce the availability of the Alicia Patel D’Souza Emerging Pilots Scholarship. This scholarship is $500.00 or 50 hours of flight time on C-FLUG, including fuel, and is designed to acknowledge women who have demonstrated an ongoing commitment promoting and supporting other women pilots through leadership within the Manitoba Chapter of the 99s, Inc. The scholarship is open to members of the Manitoba Chapter of the 99’s, who hold a Private Pilot License or higher. Scholarship payment in the form of cash will be made to the flight school or flying club directly, and in the form of flight hours directly to the recipient’s FLUG account. Cash or flight hours shall be used by October 1st of the award year. Complete the attached application form, along with a letter of intent, and a letter of recommendation from one MB Chapter member of the executive. The scholarship committee will be assessing all applications received by email or postmarked prior to February 1st. Final selection will be based on involvement with the MB 99s.
