The very first ever AME Day will be celebrated this April 20th at Centennial College’s Aerospace Campus at 65 Carl Hall Rd, (Downsview Airport).
The AME Association of Ontario will be hosting 2 separate Professional Development opportunities focusing on Mental Wellness topics, facilitated by Donna Marshall, Co-CEO, Workright Inc.
The morning session (09:00-noon) is geared to Leaders/Managers/Supervisors and will include an online module, followed by a 3-hour in-person module.
The afternoon session (13:00-16:00) is directed to AMEs/Employees and also includes an online module followed by the in-person, 3-hour session.
A light lunch will be provided (generously sponsored by AMFA) for all participants from noon-13:00.

In addition to the PD opportunities listed above, the AME Association of Ontario will be inviting current Centennial AMT Students and recent grads to a special First AME Day drop-in networking opportunity (10am-2pm) in conjunction with these PD Events/First AME Day Celebration.
The Association will be buying students in attendance pizza and soft drinks at noon. This will provide them with an opportunity to meet industry contacts and will allow Workshop attendees to tour Centennial College’s new Aerospace campus.
