Elsie MacGill Awards Gala

The Northern Lights Aero Foundation is delighted to announce that our 14th annual Elsie MacGill Awards Gala, honouring outstanding Canadian women who have made significant contributions to aviation and aerospace, will take place on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at the Pearson Convention Centre in Brampton, Ontario. Details regarding ticket purchasing and corporate sponsorships will be shared in the near future.

Named after aviation trailblazer and human rights advocate Elsie Gregory MacGill, the Elsie Award recognizes eight outstanding women across seven categories: Business, Education, Engineering, Flight Operations, Government, Trailblazer, and Rising Star.

The Northern Lights Aero Foundation is in its 14th year of celebrating women in Canada’s aerospace and aviation industries. Other initiatives of the Northern Lights Aero Foundation include a speakers’ bureau, mentorship program, scholarship program, a junior board and outreach at aviation events across the country.
